This morning, I had an introduction to the Turkish legal system, spending the morning signing over my power of attorney to a Turkish lawyer who will help me apply for Turikish citizenship. We then strolled through the suburb of Bebek (an upmarket area) along the edges of the Marmara back towards the Dolmabahçe Palace.
Along the edges of the sea, hundreds of men were throwing out their fishing lines, many boats rushed or chugged past with masses of sea gulls following them in hope of a free snack. A closer look straight into the water revealed millions of jelly fish.

In the afternoon, we met my father at the previously arranged petrol station and he drove us to a park which had two smaller hunting palaces once used by the sultans but now turned into cafes. After meandering through the park, we ended up in the warmer room of a cafe, playing cards - teaching each other new games and trying to outdo one and other.
